Recognizing the Qajar Kush of Bagh Fin based on innovation in architectural space creation and decorative motifs

Abstract

The decorations used in Iranian architecture are among the most unique patterns and images in the world. What is certain is that Iranian gardens are a symbol of art and the manifestation of architecture and painting by the artists of their time. Fin Kashan garden is one of the most unique gardens among the gardens of Iran. The mansion of the Qajar mansion shines like a jewel in this garden. Paying attention to the proportions and composition of motifs and decorations of this building and its application in other arts, including carpet design, is a must in order to preserve and maintain these works. Studying and analyzing the design of Shamseh with salimis and khatais in the middle ceiling of the Qajar Kushk mansion in Bagh Fin is a lasting thing for display in other Iranian arts. The method of this research is a documentary-field case study and it was done in a descriptive, analytical and adaptive way. The method of collecting materials and using them in this research is based on library studies and field research (photography) through the examination of the designs in the Fin Kashan garden, which is for the purpose of analyzing these unique motifs left from the past. , and understanding the way of designing and drawing them and the reuse of these designs in other arts, especially in the design of carpets in terms of innovation, the designs are drawn in an open linear way. It should be mentioned that due to the field nature of information gathering, some parts of the text lack references.
