- All types of original scientific articles, including research, promotion, and reviews, are accepted by the Journal of Iranian Architecture Studies.
- The article must be written in Farsi and adhere to the language's rules and traditions.
- The article's content is the author's responsibility.
- The article's content may be accepted, rejected, or edited at the journal's discretion.
- The journal uses scientific referees' judgments as a criterion for classifying an article.
- The received article won't be sent back.
- After receiving the reviewers comments, the editorial board makes the final decision regarding whether or not to publish an article.
- It is against the law to use any of the articles from this bimonthly publication in other publications or books without citing the original works.
- If an article does not meet these requirements, it will be taken off the list of items for review before being sent to the reviewers and editorial board.
- The journal is responsible for managing articles, editing and page processing, printing and publishing paper and electronic articles, and the author is only responsible for the reviewing fee.
The following requirements must be followed as you prepare the article:
- The author's profile page should include the full title of the article, the author's name and family name, affiliation, and the institution or place of employment.
- The name, email address, and phone number of the co-author should be provided.
Persian abstract: No more than 300 words in Persian, excluding footnotes and references (must be descriptive of the entire article and include the statement of the research problem or objectives, research method, most important findings, and conclusion).
Research questions: There are two to three main research questions in total.
Introduction: Research objectives, research background, research method, and a general introduction to the article are all included in the introduction along with a summary of the topic (expressing the research problem, research hypotheses, and its relationship to the topic of the article).
The artical: The article's text contain theoretical underpinnings, studies and reviews, and research findings. 20 pages are the maximum number of pages for the article, and 8000 words are the maximum number of words.
Research result: It should offer the research question's resolution in the form of study findings.
Footnotes: These should be put at the end of the article as a footnote and should include the Latin translations of any terminology as well as any necessary definitions.
Persian and Latin sources: Just those that are mentioned in the article, listed alphabetically by the author's last name.
English section: consists of two pages that follow the sources at the end of the article:
A- The first page's requirements for the Persian section.
B- A full translation of the abstract in Persian (at most 400 words).
Inserting sources and citations
- The Iranian style is used to insert the sources' and references' specifications. This instruction manual is accessible for download from the publication's website.
- All pictures, maps, and diagrams cited in the body of the article must have consecutive numbers.
- The pictures of the article must be emailed separately in a compressed folder as high-quality files in the jpg format with Latin names.
Before being sent to the editorial board and reviewers, an article will be returned to the author if it was written against the publication's policies and criteria.
