دانشگاه کاشان مطالعات معماری ایران 2252-0635 8 15 2022 01 26 Qabusnama of Persian Architecture: Rethinking the history of making Gunbad-i Qābus قابوس‌نامۀ معماری ایران؛ بازخوانی مفاهیم و کارکردهای گنبد قابوس (علمی پژوهشی) 27 45 111815 10.22052/1.15.27 FA جعفر طاهری دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد عبدالمجید نورتقانی دانشگاه گلستان Journal Article 2022 01 26 This study aims to investigate the origins, concepts, and symbolic and formal functions of the Gunbad-i Qābus tomb-tower based on interpretation of its inscription.  This hermeneutic analysis addresses the historical context of the building formation, rethinking the concepts presented in its ten-piece inscription using philological methods, and compares it with the inscriptions of some other tomb-towers of Iran. Findings show that after the fall of Samanid dynasty, Qābus b. Voshmgīr erected the symbol (tower) of his authority and charter of governance on the road from Gurgān to Khurasan to show off his power and ensure his sovereignty against powerful enemies like the Buyids. The original intention of Qābus to build the monument beyond its funerary function was the foundation of an eternal monument glorifying his virtues, grandeur, and ambitions. In addition, this landmark is a symbol of the consolidation of Qābus’s power in the political arena, and his perfection and eminence in art and literature.   هدف این مطالعه، تحقیق دربارۀ خاستگاه، مفاهیم و کارکردهای صوری و نمادین گنبد (برج) قابوس بر پایۀ تفسیر و تأویل کتیبۀ ده‌بخشی آن است. این تفسیر تاریخی‌ادبی تازه به بررسی فضای تاریخی شکل‌گیری بنا، بازخوانی برخی مفاهیم کتیبۀ بنا با روش لغت‌شناسی و مقایسۀ آن با کتیبۀ برخی برج‌مقابر ایران می‌پردازد. یافته‌های این مطالعه نشان می‌دهند که قابوس بن وشمگیر برای تثبیت حکمرانی خود، درست پس از زوال سامانیان و اعلان قدرت در برابر حکمرانان قدرتمندی چون آل‌بویه و دیگر معارضان، نماد اقتدار یا منشور حکمرانی خود را در مسیر گرگان [قدیم] به خراسان برافراشت. قصد اصلی قابوس از ساخت این بنا، فراتر از کارکرد تدفینی، پایه‌گذاری یادبودی جاودانه از فضایل، شکوه و در واقع جاه‌طلبی خود بوده است. به تعبیری، گنبد قابوس نمادی از تحکیم قدرت و اقتدار قابوس در عرصۀ سیاسی، و کمال و برتری او در ادب و هنر بوده است.   https://jias.kashanu.ac.ir/article_111815_96e81117c8dfc6701e0cdec4e69e29f6.pdf
