In these cases, any succinct references can be valuable and informative regarding to the historical status and architectural configuration and formal composition of these monuments. One of the less studied resources for architectural history, are poetic collections and anecdotes. This article attempts to investigate architectural descriptions and connotations of a specific historical garden as reflected in a poetry collection. Golzār-e Sa’adat, by Mirza Mohsen Ta’sir Tabrizi, describes the Sa’adat- ābad garden in Safavid era Isfahan. It is one of rare instances of poetry that is completely dedicated to unique architectural portrayal of few renowned buildings.  Today, nothing has remained from Sa’adat- ābad garden and thus such information has priceless value in sense of historical architectural monography. This study will explain how Sa’adat- ābad garden is rendered in Golzār-e Sa’adat, and attempts to represent its spatial configuration as described in the related poems. Finally, it will draw a schematic plan of the garden, based on the information derived from the poem. Golzār-e Sa’adat reveals that during the Shah Sultan Hussein’s kingdom, some additional spaces had been added to the garden, which is not yet mentioned in any other historical resources. در مطالعۀ آن‌دست از بناهای تاریخی ایران که بخش‌هایی از آن با همۀ آن از میان رفته است، نقش منابع مکتوب و تصاویر بسیار پررنگ‌ می‌شود. ازآنجاکه در مطالعۀ این‌ نوع بناها، کوچک‌ترین اطلاع افزون‌تری نیز می‌تواند مفید باشد، شناسایی و بررسی همۀ منابع موجود بسیار اهمیت دارد. یکی از انواع کمتردیدۀ منابع تاریخ معماری که گاه ممکن است دربارۀ گونه‌ای بناهای تاریخی یا یک بنای خاص اطلاعاتی به‌دست دهد، متون ادبی منظوم است. هدف از این مقاله، معرفی و بررسی قابلیت‌های یک نمونه از این متون است. منظومۀ گلزار سعادت اثر میرزامحسن تأثیر تبریزی (۱۰۶۰ـ۱۱۲۸ق)، در وصف باغ سعادت‌آباد اصفهان سروده شده، و جزو آثار منظوم اندک‌شماری است که به‌طور کلی به وصف معماری چند بنا می‌پردازد. به جرئت می‌توان گفت که برخی اطلاعات موجود در گلزار سعادت، در هیچ‌یک از منابع درجه‌اول و درجۀ دوم دیگر نیامده و از این نظر بی‌همتاست. همچنین، ازآنجاکه همۀ بناهای وصف‌شده در این منظومه از میان رفته، اهمیت اطلاعات آن دوچندان می‌شود. در این مقاله، ابتدا به معرفی مختصر باغ سعادت‌آباد و مثنوی گلزار سعادت می‌پردازیم، و سپس می‌کوشیم تا از طریق تحلیل محتوای این متن، و در موارد ممکن با تطبیق اطلاعات آن با دیگر منابع، تصویری از اجزای معماری باغ سعادت‌آباد به‌دست دهیم؛ و در نهایت، طرحی کلی از پلان این باغ ترسیم کنیم. متن گلزار سعادت نشان می‌دهد که در زمان شاه‌سلطان‌حسین بخش‌هایی به این باغ افزوده شده که تاکنون در هیچ منبع دیگری از آن نامی برده نشده است. https://jias.kashanu.ac.ir/article_111759_2028eefc9d84b10c79b0b0e3ae481800.pdf
